Outfit Combos to Try this Spring

Hey A-Lister babes! As we wrap up the month of March and dive into Spring mode and go full speed into April, we are beyond ready to show some skin and get that sun kissed glow! But if you are a Midwest girl, then you know we have a few faux springs that include wild wind and brutal temperature mood swings and then actual Spring and nice weather arrives and stays for good. So to combat the inconsistency of Mother Nature, we've rounded up some trendy transitional outfit combos to try this Spring.

Outfit Combo #1 - Princess Diana Season

In the world of fashion and when it comes to the ultimate athleisure aesthetic, we lovingly call biker and sweatshirt weather as "Princess Diana Season". She may have been a princess but she was a style queen. From slaying the red carpet at galas galore, to serving up street style looks in bikers and crew necks, she could do no wrong and made a lasting impression on women all over the world.

So it's no surprise that this classic Princess Diana ensemble is a must-try, top favorite look of ours here at A-List. We love the juxtaposition of a loose fitting comfy hoodie or crew neck sweatshirt with figure flattering, hip hugging little biker shorts. And paired with a cute pair of white tennis shoes, you have the ultimate cool girl outfit. If it's Princess Di approved, then it's A-List approved because that icon could do no wrong!

Outfit Combo #2 - Kimono + Bodysuit

Florals for Spring? Groundbreaking. Name that movie! But it's true that floral prints and springtime go hand-in-hand. And we sure do love a good floral kimono. Kimonos serve as the perfect layer for those days when it's chilly in the morning but by lunchtime it's time to shed it and bare your shoulders. They are effortless and breezy. For cooler days, opt for wide leg flare jeans with a classic pair of espadrille platform sandals. And if it's warm enough outside, ditch the denim and hop into your favorite cutoff shorts!

Outfit Combo #3 - Dress + Sneakers

Whether you are shuffling kiddos around Monday to Friday, running errands on a Saturday morning, or sliding into the pew for Sunday morning mass; a dress and sneaker duo will take you all the places! Simple and understated yet chic and timeless, this is one of our favorite girl-on-the-go outfits. And since we're talking transitional spring wear, we recommend grabbing that denim jacket and having it handy until this wishy washy weather comes to its senses! And we have tons of lightweight versatile jackets to choose from. Every woman should have a classic jean jacket such as this Liverpool option. And for the edgier babe, we are loving the star and skull print on this oversized gray denim jacket with a frayed hem. You will feel like an instant bad ass in this number! And of course we can't talk about Spring without mentioning white denim. A white jean jacket will surely make any outfit pop and is super versatile, guaranteeing it to go seamlessly with any dress or top!
